Diamond Bob retired and moved from the Bay Area to Lincoln just over a
year ago. Not wanting to lose his long time interest in playing blues,
he gathered a seasoned group of musicians to form his new Alley Sneakers.
Like any recipe, sometimes it turnes out well, sometimes it's missing
something. This time, it came out better than ever. There's some mighty
tasty music going on.
Diamond Bob and the Alley Sneakers combine gritty blues guitar with soulful harp, and add some jazzy gospel keyboards to a driving beat. The Alley Sneakers reinvent songs from blues masters B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Stevie Ray Vaughn and many others but with a fresh sound. Then add in original songs and you have a mix of old and new tunes - blues, rock & roll, R&B and much more!
Put on your dancing shoes, because you won't want to sit still when you hear this band. The Alley Sneakers are in town!
