Main Players' Biographies
Bob "Diamond Bob"  Perro      Vocals/Harmonica
formed Diamond Bob and The Alley Sneakers in 2006. He started singing when he was 8 years old. Involved in music throughout the 1950's and 60's, including 4 years in the military in Vietnam where he performed with visiting USO bands, he returned home to raise his family. At his 40th year high school reunion, Bob was presented a picture of himself performing with his high school band, Lord John and the Yorkshires, which reignited the spark to perform. Since then Bob has studied harmonica with Danny Hull of the Doobie Brothers and Dave Barrett at the School of the Blues in San Jose, CA. You can find out more about Bob by visiting his MySpace page.
Diamond Bob counts B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Jimi Hendrix and any good blues music featuring harmonica as his musical influences.

Randy "Blue Boy" Carey      Guitar/Vocals
Born in Los Angeles, his Dad got the ball rolling with my first guitar at age 7. Self taught with the help of many influences from the cowboy music of the 50's and 60's (thanks, Dad) and big band, blues, and pop (thanks, Mom). Influences include Chet Atkins, the three Kings (BB, Albert, Freddie,) Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Tommy Emanuel. Active in the Sierra Blues Society and the Sacramento Blues Society, has coordinated the Wednesday night pro jam at Louie's in Rancho Cordova for many years. Recordings include his original album, "Better Days Ahead" (© Randrock Productions 1997, all rights reserved.) Has played in many bands including Crossroads (1982-84), Allen Clemmons and Sound (1982-85), Dave Coombs Trio (1994-97), Dram (1996-97), Randy Carey and Friends (2006-present), and Wingnut Adams Blues Band (2009-2010). Credits his loving wife, Kimmi, as his inspiration to play music through her support, encouragement, and involvement in the blues societies alongside him.

Rick "T-Bone" Campbell      Bass
Has been playing bass for over 30 years. He started at the age of 17, playing in local bands in the Philadelphia suburbs, where his family is from. Rick had the opportunity to play with many very gifted musicians during his two tours with the US Air Force. Having lived on both coasts and continuously playing music with the people he found around him has made for a very well rounded experience base.

His biggest influences are Billy Sheehan and Jack Bruce. Rick has recorded with artists in Omaha, Nebraska , and in the Sacramento Metro area, where he now resides. He has been playing blues almost exclusively for the last 10 years.

Carolyn "Magic" McNabb      Keyboards/Back-up Vocals
Has been playing piano since she was two. She started playing in big bands at UC Berkeley and moved from jazz to southern rock, Motown, and blues. Played and recorded with groups including Flat Nasty, Slap Jack (Slap City), Emily Lord (Brand New Day), Bart Shea and Freddie Roulette (The Bart Shea Band Featuring Freddie Roulette), Steve Clendenin (Guilty Guitarist), Dave Williams (Madman in the Attic), James Israel, Marshall and the Moondogs. Has played professionally with many blues artists including Alvin Draper, Chris Cobb, Terry Hiatt, Robbie Bean, Birdlegg, and Kenny Blue Ray. Venues include Concord Pavilion, Little Fox Theater, Redwood City Blues Festival. Influenced by Oscar Peterson, Dave Brubeck, Count Basie, Dave Grusin, McCoy Tyner, David Benoit, and lifetime friend and mentor Dick Dennis whose boogie-woogie blues can't be topped.

Clark "Bulldog" Freschi     Drums/Percussion
Clark didn't want a bio, so we're making one for him. Maybe he's kind of shy and humble, but don't be fooled. This guy has bags and boxes of talent. A drummer makes or breaks a band, and Clark's rock-steady beat and tasty fills lay a solid foundation beneath everything we play. We couldn't agree on a nickname for him, but anything along the lines of 'groove god' or 'beat meister' could work. Must have been born with drumsticks in hand. More to come about this awesome guy.
